Studio Etiquette
All workout areas are 6 feet distanced
Each station is cleaned between classes with hospital grade cleaner
Hospital grade HEPA 13 filters are used in studio to clean air particles – filtering out 97% every 30 minutes
For all yoga, barre, mat Pilates, BOSU, and cycle classes – please bring your own mat
Grip socks are required in all classes with the exception of cycle, strength or BOSU where gym shoes are required

Take time for you – unplug and have fun!
Silence your cell phones and smart watches and refrain from taking phone calls once inside the building.

Studio Arrival – If you are not 5 minutes early, you are late!
Arrive 5 minutes before class or appointments to allow time to sign-in, put your belongings away and get settled on your machine or mat. If you are signed up for a class and are running behind, you have a 5-minute window from the start of class to keep your reserved spot. Once this window passes, you will not be able to enter the classroom because it is disruptive and unsafe. Late cancel charges will apply. Thank you for your understanding.
Leave your belongings (bags, clothes, shoes, phones, etc) in the studio cubbies. Refrain from putting belongings on the floor by the reformer, barre or mats as they become tripping hazards for teachers and clients.
Childcare is not available. Children will not be able to wait in the lobby or class while you attend a session, unless previously approved by management.

FAQs:
Workout Attire

Please feel free to bring a towel and a water bottle (there is a filtered water dispenser available for refills).
Sticky Grip socks are required to be worn in all classes. Athletic shoes are required for Cycle classes.
Please do not bring: jewelry, chewing gum, strong perfume or odors, body lotions or oils

Class Reservations
To attend a class, register online and reserve your spot ahead of time or call the studio. Class reservations close online 60 minutes prior to class start time. We highly recommend using the IM=X mobile app for reservation management. Download the IM=X app from the app store, create your account and start managing your reservations with ease!

Cancellation Policy
We have a limited number of machines, and a high-demand for our classes. If you need to cancel, we simply ask that you cancel your space 12 hours in advance. Class reservations cancelled less than 12 hours prior to start with incur a $15 late cancellation charge. The cancellation policy allows all members a chance to attend the desired classes. Please make sure to cancel classes as space is limited – a no show fee of $25 will be applied.
For private training, cancellations must occur 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment time. If cancelled less than 24 hours, you will be charged for the session as if you had attended.

Class Waitlist Policy
It works! We promise. If the class you want to attend is full, put yourself on the waitlist and you will be alerted by email if a space opens up to 2 hours prior to class start time. If you have made other arrangements, remember to remove yourself from the waitlist so you are not let into the class and then do not show – ESPECIALLY for early morning classes as you may be let into class sometime in the night.

Stepping the intensity up a notch, IM=X® incorporates cardio and strength-training elements for optimal sculpting success…utilizing pelvic and ribcage stabilization techniques…plyometric jump segments sprinkled throughout the workout which was created by exercise physiologist Elyse McNergney.”

Here is one equation that will keep you fit! The benefits of an IM=X® workout have been discovered by many pro athletes, including members of the New York Mets …IM=X® offers a cross-conditioning system focusing on muscle efficiency through posture and core endurance. The comprehensive program includes resistance training, plyometrics and innovative formats…IM=X® brings intensity and efficiency to functional-strength and flexibility training.”

I recently found a method of training that uses aspects of pilates but is geared towards the non-dancer…This method is called IM=X® which stands for Integrated Movement Xercize. Based on pilates, IM=X® puts more emphasis on strength…If you do the exercises consistently, with proper form, you will see and feel the difference!”

Integrated Movement Xercize (IM=X®). It’s loosely based on pilates — a muscle toning and flexibility program –but IM=X® is a formula that packs more of a strength-training punch. IM=X® pioneer Elyse McNergney leads exercisers through a series of toning and stretching moves on a sturdier version of the pilates reformer (The Xercizer) …You’ll gladly groan through the 30-60 minutes of body shaping.”

I had a fitness epiphany in a class called IM=X®. Created by Elyse McNergney, M.Ed., M.A., IM=X® stands for Integrated Movement Xercize…Each repetition demanded extreme concentration. My legs shook because despite all my training, they didn’t recognize – and couldn’t handle – the new movements…I broke a sweat and was thrilled to feel the lower part of my abs burn…The IM=X® class passed my fitness test: I was sore and sweaty. But, more than that, the next morning my run seemed a little boring in comparison.”

You need strong core muscles, front and back, to keep your spine elongated and healthy says Jeffrey Goldstein, M.D., a spine surgeon at the Hospital for Joint Diseases…so we asked Elyse McNergney, founder of IM=X® to design a back-focused workout exclusively for SELF…In two weeks, you’ll have better posture and more powerful muscles. But don’t stop there! Within four weeks, you’re bound to look great in any bare-back style, because a strong back is a sexy back — and that feels good all over.”

Built to withstand heavy usage, the Xercizer, is an updated version of the original reformer that features an extra-durable, industrial design. This innovative piece offers a variety of resistance levels that accommodate a wide range of users, and allows individuals to perform, among other things, abdominal and bicep curls, back and triceps extensions, and leg presses. The Xercizer is supported by the company’s IM=X® Program, a turn-key Pilates package designed specifically for fitness facilities.”
