Dr. Michael Magwood represents Pure Balance Center and specializes in Prenatal and Pediatric chiropractic care. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo, Canada, before earning his Doctorate at the New York Chiropractic College in 2000. He is certified by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). IM=X® Pilates Clifton has become a diverse wellness facility,” says Dr. Magwood, whose IM=X® certification has led to his offering of IM=X® Prenatal Fitness a safe and clinically rich exercise protocol for expectant mothers. “I am also certified in the Webster technique for pregnant moms and have contributed some of our case data to an international research study.” Dr. Magwood is a also a local supplier of Pathways to Family Wellness magazine. "Our young patients are responding to gentle pediatric techniques and we provide a successful approach to posture correction including young patients with scoliosis."
Taylor Wagner
IM=X® Pilates Certified Instructor
Taylor started dancing at the age of three. After she graduated from her hometown competition dance studio, Performing Arts Academy, she continued her dance training at the Alvin Ailey School, in NYC, and obtained her certificate in dance.
Taylor is currently working for a contemporary dance company, IKADA in NY, and as a professional dancer for the NLL Riptides lacrosse team in Long Island. She took interest in IMX Pilates about four years ago because of the fundamentals and movement that the exercise entailed. She enjoyed the way it incorporated stretching, strengthening, and health simultaneously. She now loves seeing her clients progress, feel better, and achieve the goals/mobility they desire. Megan Sheridan

Also an instrumental music teacher, avid equestrian, and dog lover, Megan loves the balance that IM=X Pilates adds to her life. She discovered the benefits of pilates after recovering from L4-L5 spinal fusion surgery in 2010. She took classes on and off from 2010 until 2017. Since she was introduced to IM=X, she has been practicing regularly – and teaching – ever since. She loves the connection and body awareness she has developed. She has built strength, endurance, spinal health, and flexibility in a low-impact, fun, and effective way. She shares her passion for IM=X with clients of all fitness levels and the journey to achieving their health and fitness goals.

I have been in the fitness business for over 11 years. SCHWINN, NASM/AFAA, TRX and Barre Above certified. I've recently expanded my education to include Reformer Pilates through IM=X®. I wanted to be able to teach others how to strengthen their cores in an effort to prehab themselves rather than having to endure rehab. Most people have some sort of weakness in their back and hips - both of which are integral pieces to core strength & stability. IM=X® is so unique in the Reformer world as it also encompasses strength and cardio as well as the lengthening and stabilization found in other practices. Its for those reasons that I chose to become certified here and it's actually one of the only classes I take the time to do for myself.
No matter what I coach, I look to provide a total body workout. Each routine combines circuit style intervals designed to build strength and test your endurance. My goal is to keep each class fresh and fun and to make my client's workout program plateau-proof! This is THE BEST career I have ever had!

Samantha has always been passionate about movement, beginning her journey with ballet at a young age and expanding her repertoire to other styles like modern dance, continuing her training through university with classes at Alvin Ailey. Samantha has also spent many years immersed in world of martial arts, including kickboxing, boxing, and grappling. This blend of experiences has instilled in her a deep appreciation for the balance between grace and strength.
As a certified yin yoga instructor, Samantha believes in the power of mindful movement and connection. At IM=X Pilates, she thrives on helping individuals discover their strength and flexibility, guiding them on their personal journeys. Samantha is dedicated to fostering growth and community, making her classes a space for transformation and empowerment.
