Battling a lifelong struggle with weight and body image, I left the corporate world to pursue my passion for helping others develop a more healthy lifestyle. The IM=X® formula gives me the variety of formats to keep the workouts challenging and fun, while effectively trimming and toning the whole body. It is this quality "me time" that keeps me sane and smiling when spending time with my husband and 7 fur babies. I have lived in the DFW area since 2002 and am now considered a true Texan for life.

I discovered IM=X Pilates in August 2023 when I began teaching yoga weekly. It was during this time that I was introduced to the IM=X Pilates Reformer. I quickly fell in love with the fun and dynamic flow of each class. The gentle resistance training is easy on my joints while delivering a comprehensive full-body workout. Regardless of who’s teaching, I find the experience enjoyable and uplifting. I’m thrilled to add this certification to my credentials, allowing me to join a team of exceptional instructors and lead members in their pursuit of personal fitness goals. In my spare time, I love spending quality moments with my husband and our two college-aged children. I also enjoy working out/playing pickleball, sports, getting lost in a good book, relaxing on my patio swing, and traveling.

I attended an introduction to IMX Pilates back in September of last year. I was in LOVE. I enjoyed the versatility the program provided, actually giving you a full body workout with an emphasis on strengthening the core. I was interested in making it a regular part of my life, so joined as a member in October. When I learned that there was a training to get certified as an instructor, I signed right up. I absolutely love the benefits I have gotten so far, and can't wait to help other women get stronger and leaner on their own fitness journey. I look forward to learning all that I can, and provide a fun and challenging workout to the members at IMX Pilates no matter their skill level. I live in Arlington TX with my husband of 38 years. We have two darling ShihTzu dogs, Coco age 3 and Cosmo age 20! They keep us young with their shenanigans. We also have one grown son, Tyler, that lives in Austin where he was born. My loves are being outdoors hiking and exploring, traveling to new places and thrifting. I can’t wait to get to know YOU better.

I have always enjoyed exercise whether it be walking, karate with my 4 kids or teaching PE to preschoolers. In 2021 I had neck surgery which left me weak and looking for some type of gym or exercise routine to regain my strength. The IM=X sign was calling my name. I signed up for the free trial session with my husband. Once the class was over, I told my husband I needed to be at IM=X everyday. Since April of 2023, I have been committed to strengthening myself both physically and mentally at IM=X with a great group of members. If I’m not at IM=X, I am enjoying my new grandson Jack or out and about with my hubby of 30 years trying to find great Italian food.

I am so glad that I found IM=X Pilates. A former dance teacher for over 20 years and professional dancer and performer, I am passionate about being active, teaching and leading a healthy lifestyle. Hi, I’m Kelsi Baez, who’s always had a passion for movement. I played college softball for four years and went on to coach, which fueled my love for teaching and helping others reach their goals. For years, I was dedicated to heavy lifting, but in 2022 I discovered Pilates — and it completely transformed how I connected with my body. I began moving in ways that felt good, building strength while protecting my joints, and leaving every workout feeling energized instead of worn down. Now, I bring that same approach to my classes: combining athletic discipline with mindful movement, helping clients find their own balance of strength, control, and confidence. My goal is to make every session a place where you feel challenged, supported, and proud of what your body can do.

Welcome to IM=X Pilates and Fitness Mansfield! We will help you reach your health & wellness goals with awesome workouts, accountability and a supportive community of new friends.

Grip socks are required for all classes. No bare feet or regular/non-sticky socks allowed.

Please arrive approximately 5 minutes before class time. Arriving after class has started is distracting and prevents you from properly warming up your body and being prepared with equipment and props. You may be turned away at the discretion of the instructor.

Late Cancel & No-Show policies: classes canceled less than 2 hours prior to class time are considered a late-cancel, which will incur a $10 fee for unlimited membership members or a used class in a limited class package/membership. Not showing up for a class you have registered for, with no cancellation notice, will result in a $20 fee and a used class in a limited class package/ membership. This is simply to discourage behavior which may prevent other members from accessing classes.

Keep all personal items (except water) in a basket. This includes keys, wallet, shoes, cell phone, purse, jacket, glasses and jewelry. Any items kept on or near your reformer or mat are your responsibility if damaged or lost. They also pose a tripping hazard for you and the instructor.

Membership cancelations: if you wish to cancel a membership on auto-renew, please send the request via email to michelle@imxpilates.com at least 14 days prior to your next billing date.
