Studio Etiquette:

  • For first-time clients: Please arrive 15 to 20 minutes early in order to allow a knowledgable staff member to help familiarize you with the equipment. You may also need to fill out our health form, if not done prior, as our instructors strive to effectively guide you through a safe experience!
  • Grip socks are required, (no exceptions). We have them available for purchase, but they can also be found online.
  • If you arrive more than 5 minutes late, you will not be allowed to attend class due to our timeframe no longer allowing us to prepare you safely for class. We will do our best to reschedule you into the next available class.
  • Wear comfortable, clean clothing that will aid in mobility – fitted leggings or long fitted shorts and comfortable workout shirts are recommended.
  • Your health, and the health of our staff, is important to us! If you are experiencing any symptoms of sickness or illness, please refrain from attending class to avoid potentially spreading it to others.
  • Please refrain from chewing gum in the studio, wearing lose jewelry, or wearing strong perfume and/or lotions; these can all affect you or those around you during the workout.
  • After class, we kindly ask that you please wipe down any and all equipment used with the sanitary wipes provided, and return it to its proper home.

FAQs:

  • Body alignment and form are extremely important at IM=X® Pilates and Fitness, therefore our instructors may ask to perform postural adjustments and hands-on corrections.
  • If you need assistance with modifying or intensifying exercises, please ask! We encourage scheduling private sessions in addition to group classes for the best results.

Class Cancellation Policy:

  • We have a 6-hour cancellation policy. Cancellations made within 6 hours of the class will incur a $15 late cancellation fee. We have limited space and aim to accommodate everyone; therefore, timely cancellations are crucial for us to offer the spot to someone else.
  • For private sessions and duets, a 12-hour cancellation notice is required. Cancellations made with less than 12 hours’ notice will also incur a $15 late cancellation fee.
  • Late arrivals to any class will not be admitted more than 5 minutes after the class has started as a respect to other members and teachers ready to move forward.
  • IM=X® Pilates and Fitness reserves the right to cancel a scheduled class due to no attendance. If there are NO sign-ups 2 hours prior to a scheduled class – class will be canceled. Although unlikely, it is highly advised to register for class in advance for this reason. Before considering a drop-in, please refresh and double check your MindBody App to be sure class has not been canceled.
  • Your safety, and the safety of our staff is important to us!  IM=X® Pilates and Fitness also reserves the right to cancel class due to inclement weather conditions during the winter months. You will be notified in advance for any weather related cancellations.

Waitlist Policy:

  • If you end up on our waitlist, please remember to take yourself off the waitlist if you no longer plan to attend this class.
  • We assure you the waitlist does work! If a space opens up to 2 hours prior to the class start time, you will be notified by email.
