IM=X® stands for Integrated Movement Xercize. We offer a wide variety of fitness formulas to help all ages, sizes and abilities.
Our studios offer our premier fusion workouts that integrate pilates, barre, yoga, cycling, weight training and back wellness – all under one roof. Our focus on powerful stabilization protocols so that you can receive the most from every workout. IM=X® was developed by Elyse McNergney – certified in traditional pilates and the Alexander Technique with a M.A. in Movement Science from New York University and a M.Ed. in Exercise Physiology from Columbia University. Elyse’s background as a dancer and exercise scientist; and her 15+ years of training all types of clients led her to develop the IM=X® programs.
Lauren Fakete is the President of IM=X® and is passionate about helping IM=X® studio owners achieve their goals while building wellness communities in their cities and towns. Lauren is a former ballerina who acquired an interest in fitness while at George Mason University where she graduated cum laude with two degrees in Dance and Political Theory and Law.
Renee Raiche is a Master Trainer for IM=X® Pilates and can be found hosting certifications across the country and virtually. Certified in IM=X® Pilates in 2001, Renee began teaching pilates for IM=X® and at many major NY area health and fitness clubs. Renee is also a certified yoga teacher specializing in yoga therapeutics. Renee has run five marathons including the NYC Marathon and the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington DC raising money for wounded service members.
Robert Maynard, the COO of IM=X®, assists with technology and day to day operations. He has an extensive career background in technology and holds a Master’s of Science in Computer Information Systems from Rivier University.
Katharine is an IM=X® Master Trainer and studio owner who began her IM=X® journey as a trainer for the NYC studio in 2019 to supplement her professional dance career. She is certified in the IM=X® Basic, Advanced, Tower, Barre, Platform and Yoga programs. She has been performing dance and instructing fitness since 2012 after graduating with a BFA in Dance and a minor in Chemistry from the University of Arizona. In addition, Katharine is a 500-hr RYT through Modo Yoga International. As a professional dancer living in NYC, Katharine loves to explore new and challenging ways the body can move.
