STUDIO POLICIES & CODE OF CONDUCT
At IM=X® Pilates Redlands, we are committed to fostering a positive, respectful, and safe environment for both our clients and staff members. To uphold this standard and ensure a harmonious experience for everyone, we ask that you please observe the following guidelines:
CODE OF CONDUCT:

- Respect: Uphold a standard of respect, kindness, and consideration towards everyone. Discriminatory language or behavior will not be tolerated within our community.
- Punctuality: We kindly request that existing customers arrive at least 5 minutes early, while new customers are encouraged to arrive 10-15 minutes in advance. This ensures you’re fully prepared to begin your workout session, aiming to guarantee a fantastic experience right from the start.
- Positive Attitude: We cultivate an environment of encouragement and support for both fellow clients and staff members. While we highly value constructive feedback, we kindly request that any negativity or complaints be addressed privately, thereby preserving a positive atmosphere for everyone.
- Conflict Resolution: We ask that you approach conflicts with a calm and respectful demeanor. Should you require assistance, our staff is readily available to mediate and facilitate the resolution process, ensuring a harmonious environment for everyone involved.
SCHEDULING & RESERVATIONS:
- Booking: Classes and appointments can be booked up to 30 minutes prior to the start of the class through our online portal or app. In-person bookings are also available during operating hours.
- Cancellation: We have a 6-hour cancellation policy for group classes due to a limited class capacity. Please remove yourself from the class via your MindBody account or reach out to us via phone or email. Without notice there is a $15 late cancellation and no-show fee for unlimited members for group classes. For class-pack holders, the class will be deducted from your account. Should you need to cancel a private/duet session, we ask for 24-hour notice, or the session will be deducted from your account. For class-pack holders, the class will be deducted from your account. - Waitlisting: If a class is fully booked you can join the waitlist. If a spot becomes available, you will be notified and added to the class on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Punctuality: If you arrive more than 5 minutes late, your spot will be released to a member on the waitlist.
HEALTH & SAFETY
- Equipment Usage: Use Pilates equipment as instructed by our trained instructors to prevent injuries and ensure a safe workout.
- No food or drinks other than water are allowed in our workspace.
- Sanitation: Please use the provided sanitizing wipes to clean the equipment before and after use. Equipment is also regularly sanitized by our staff.
- Emergency Procedures: In case of an injury or medical emergency, please notify your instructor immediately.
- Medical History: To tailor workouts to your needs, inform us of any medical conditions, injuries, or limitations. Consult your healthcare provider before starting a new fitness program.
CLIENT INTAKE & ASSESSMENT
- Health Questionnaire: Before your first session, please fill out our health questionnaire. This information helps our instructors understand your goals, needs and any limitations.
- Initial Consultation: New clients are encouraged to schedule an initial consultation to discuss your goals, medical history, and concerns. From there we can advise on how to tailor exercises to your needs/abilities.
- Customization: Our instructors use the information from your questionnaire and consultation to tailor exercises to your individual needs and abilities.
- Progress Tracking: Periodically we will review your progress and make recommendations to ensure you are meeting your goals safely.
ATTIRE & EQUIPMENT
- Attire: Wear comfortable workout attire that allows for a full range of movement. Grip socks are required for all classes and are available for purchase at the studio.
- Personal Equipment: The studio provides everything you may need, including mats, rings, handles, foot loops, weights, and other essentials for your convenience. You are welcome to bring your own mat and other personal equipment if preferred.
STUDIO ETIQUETTE
- We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
- Cell Phone Usage: We encourage you to capture your hard work in the studio, especially if you plan to tag us later. However, we kindly ask that you respect others’ workout sessions by avoiding any interruptions and seeking permission before recording anyone.
- Noise Level: Please keep conversations and noise levels low to ensure the concentration of others is respected. When entering or exiting classes, please do so quietly to minimize disruptions to ongoing sessions.
- Late Arrivals: Late arrivals will be permitted to join the class up to 5 minutes after its scheduled start time. However, after this 5-minute window, it will be at the discretion of the instructor to determine whether late entry may cause disruptions or pose injury risks. In such cases, participation may be limited. Additionally, after the initial 5 minutes, your spot may be allocated to a standby client.
INSTRUCTOR QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING
- Modifications: Our instructors are here to help you get the most out of your membership and workouts. If you have any questions about how to modify or intensify any exercises, please ask. We encourage you to schedule private sessions in addition to group sessions to get the most out of your workouts.
NEW CLIENTS:
New to IMX=Pilates? We require an introductory session to familiarize yourself with our patented IM=X® Xercizer (reformer). Your certified instructor will teach you the fundamental techniques that will help you achieve impressive results.
